After 30 hours of down time on the site because of MySQL errors it suddenly occured to me that since the last update, they MIGHT have screwed up something about the user/password connected to the poitsplace database. Problem solved...yay

In other "news" (if you could call it that) I'm continuing to fiddle with my water rocket launcher design. I'm trying to figure out ways to lower the costs as I tend to give the things away. Current project, the hose clamp. They're "expensive" (in that...PVC and couplers usually cost less than 50 cents but hose clamps cost about a buck). I've found that a small section of thin-wall, 1 inch PVC fits snugly around a 1/2 inch PVC coupler surrounded by cable ties. This could (if nothing else) make for a very clean looking launch head.
