Reconize: I really wish people (some of various minorities, some not) would figure out that there is a G in recognize. It would also be nice if the same people would stop adding suffixes to words in some retarded attempt to make the word mean...what it meant in the first place. Stupid screwups like "orientate" and "conversate"

Bend over and prepare for your "raise": The state seems to have cut it's proposed "raise" for employees. Employees will be getting $850 or 2%...whatever's greater. This would be nice were it not for the fact that they are ALSO increasing dependent care coverage by 15%. Let's see, I'm currently paying $427.48 per month to cover my wife. That works out to an additional $64/month...and an $850 raise works out to $70/month. Then of course, copayments and deductables are going up. SADLY, just one copay at the increased rates per month, more than cancels out my $6/month raise. I'm going to be losing a lot of money this year unless SOMETHING changes drastically.
