Well, my wife got some bad news...apparently she has the WORST judge you could get (in our state) if you're seeking disability...they turn down most people. I just hope they see that her disability check won't even cover her annual medical costs. *SIGH* Here's hoping all goes well.

On the other hand, now that it looks like we're going to be poor for the next...oh, I don't know...DECADE! It seems like I might as well work with the electronics I do have even if the tools I have aren't all that spiffy. So I'm currently playing around with a microcontroller and some external RAM. After I get done with that I'm thinking I might try my hand at a flash programmer or maybe try reading smartmedia. (By the way, did you know you could cut away all the plastic around the pads on a smartmedia card and it will still be functional...although not in things designed to use smartmedia ;)

In other news Happy Birthday Bob and Beth. Having a party tonight for 'em...Mmmmm cake.
