Well, my REPLACEMENT board has just died! I don't think I'll be buying another MSI board. This is the third one I've had fail (counting the replacement board, anyway). Decided to go with an ASUS board instead. Hopefully I'll have more luck with them. After that board failed I had to reclaim my old board (which I'd only just setup for my wife)...then her old computer acted odd for no reason. THEN I had to do some work on my father's computer which ALSO acted like a whiney little bitch...Not a good day for me and computers.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, I ordered a new Asus A7N8X-E which I'm hoping will work better. Also ordered one of those keyboards without a keypad (I never use the keypad these days and I need the space) and a 256meg pen drive.

In other news the Shelby Hamfest has come and gone. As I suspected, turnout was lower than last year. I think the hamfests are shrinking. With computer shows every month, the attendance has fallen...which in turn lowers the size of the flea market. I think they'll continue to shrink...darn shame
