Day 6: as I suspected, my rate of increase has slowed down. I am now a fairly solid 20wpm and can manage 25wpm sometimes. Unless I do very badly indeed, I should have no problems hitting 30wpm by the end of the weekend. Yesterday (and to a lesser extent on day 4) I did experience some occasional mixups on both Qwerty and Dvorak, but the qwerty problems seem to have disappeared for now...obviously I expect to lose speed on qwerty if I switch. That's it for today.

Day 4: Well, I've been at it for four days now. Earlier, I was practicing by typing up a little Lorem Ipsum. So far, I can type up to 20wpm...but I end up doing a lot of backspacing. If I keep improving at the current rate, I should be able to type over 30wpm before the weekend. Of course, I don't expect the current rate to continue that long (30% more per day). If I manage to hit 30wpm by the weekend though, I'll be pretty happy.
