Conroe support on my motherboard?

I'm kind of wondering how similar Asrock's 865PE chipset based Conroe motherboard is...to mine.  Thinking about just hot swapping the current BIOS chip out and flashing another one I have laying around (I have quite a few I've pulled off old motherboards) with that other boards's BIOS.  As long as it's the same chipset it (supposedly) works to some extent.  Other than that I might have be able to just dig around with a BIOS editor and use the conroe data off the Asrock board on the BIOS for mine.  Of course, I'm not likely to get a conroe any time soon BUT, it'd be nice to see if it works.

And in other news, it's the wife's birthday today...

Happy birthday Beth!

Update:  I've attached a nylon nut to a 4megabit (512k) flash memory I had laying around and to the one on the motherboard.  Once the glue is dry I should be able to just put in the screw to use as a handle for the hot swap.  Of course, it also just occurs to me that since it makes no difference in the grand scheme of things I could just use one of my other motherboards (that has a 4megabit bios) to do the same thing...Hmmm, but might as well do several of them :D
