Raise: Looks like they actually went with a flat increase for everyone of $1086. BTW, was looking for pictures of our Governor (who is one of the ones proposing the screwed up raises or lack thereof) to photoshop and I ran into a set of pictures from an interview that SEEMED to tell a totally different story from the interview, so I made a page of my own with them and filled in the story
Btw, it occurs to me that since ONLY A FOOL would put their HEALTHY uninsured spouse on the state plan (since you can get blue cross/blue shield on your own for less than half the cost)...it would seem to me that the state plan has entered a downward spiral. Without HEALTHY people paying into the system just in case they're ill, the system has nothing but (for dependents anyway) people with a MINIMUM of $300/month in medical bills.

MCU stuff: I'm currently...sort of as a lark...trying to figure out how the heck I'd implement the math subroutines of a basic interpreter. This sort of thing is right up my alley (figuring out...not doing ;) The difficult part (for me anyway) is the lack of structure in PARENTHESES. I guess I should actually sit down and work the problem instead of just expecting it to magically come to me ;)
