Saw a bunch of air cannon and spud gun footage on youtube. I really need to put together another air cannon...and maybe that hybrid I've always wanted to make. It shouldn't actually be all that difficult to do really...since I already have the valve (that's the hard part) done...but then again I've been planning to do it for a long time now and haven't.  Such is the life of a lazy person.

Hmmm, what else is going on...Finally got off my ass and played Halo.  It's been sitting around the house since last christmas.  LOL, in a way it's nice to have waited since I've got a graphics card that hardly even notices the load and a great processor.  It think I have about 8X more CPU time, memory, and WAY more graphics processing capability than Halo needs.  Enjoyed the game but I really hated the "checkpoint" based save games.  Especially that one time it saved the checkpoint right as an enemy was rounding the corner with a rocket launcher.

LEAD training (management stuff) is almost over.  Been having to screw up my schedule for the last three weeks to show up during the day to attend.  Some of it's been crap, some has actually been useful.  *shrug* All in all, it's quasi-useful training that...as I said...screws up my schedule.

Walking...that annoying training kills one potential day so I've cut down a bit...only aobut 25 miles a week...which crazy as it sounds is probably near the minimum I should walk without pronounced weight gain.  On the bright side Beth was bothered by the trouble she had going up some stairs so she's back to it and actually walked 4 miles today...WOOT!

World events...was reading about the gathering of hundreds of thousands of people in lebanon to mark the "victory" of Hezbollah over Israel...fucking morons.  Let's see, fire rockets at Israel and then kidnap two of their soldiers, demanding 1000 prisoners in exchange.  Instead, THOUSANDS of your allies are slaughtered, probably hundreds of your people.  The rest of the world says...well, they had a right to defend themselves...Lebanon is once again reduced to rubble.  Yeah, stunning victory...I honestly hope you have MANY more like that.  Seriously, keep it up and your problems will be solved by your own deaths.
