Jasmine: Hi, how ya doing.  Thought I'd say hi since you were asking me tonight at work about my website.  Yay, look at me, I've got a website.  Bow before my half-assed L33Tness ;)  Just messing with you.  Tell your friends, then lots more people can marvel at my lack of regular updates.

New Motherboard: Well, I may...OR MAY NOT...bet getting a new motherboard and a spiffy new dual core Intel processor at the end of the month.  This isn't the best time to buy of course BUT, it's probably the best time FOR ME.  As conditions are sketchy, I'll leave you hanging with that.

As for the great Intel v/s AMD debate.  Here's what I think...as it stands, the P4 is an absolute piece of crap that happens to be roughly comparable to the AMD offering.  The P4 is nothing like it should have been, they should have added extra execution units so hyperthreading would be WORTH SOMETHING BUT...they didn't.  Having said that, you're a FUCKING IDIOT if you buy a single core socket 939 AMD processor for over $100 (without the intent of upgrading anyway) when you could pick up a DUAL CORE intel for the same thing.  Hell, it's actually a little cheaper.  Further, since Intel is basically switching back to the energy efficient P3-ish family (with improvements) while offering their CPUs at bargain prices...it is safe to say that AMD had better do something or they'll have their ass handed to them!

IM icons: It's never really occured to me that the icons I use in MY client might actually be something that someone else might want to use.  It's not that I think they're complete crap or anything, it's just that I've always associated the icons with ME.  It's my site, they're icons for my site...so it made sense for me.  Buuuuuut, someone was asking, so I may well make them available in IM friendly sizes (and with the words removed, of course...it's easy to turn off that layer since I have (heh, and made) the original art).

I might add a little to this later, might not.  I seem to recall SOMETHING I'm missing.  Oh well...until next time
