New site script: Well, I'm screwing around with a new content management script. The site really won't look very different. The big difference is that login section (which I'll probably try to move down the page a bit later) and the fact that you can post comments about my comments :) It'll also make it easier for me to post loose approximations of articles. I'd try some of the spiffier content management systems but to be honest, I'm CRAZY kinds of lazy about such things and this one was pretty simple.

A walking trail? I was walking one morning (as usual) and finally decided to check out a new paved road that LOOKED a bit like a walking trail. In retrospect, I'm thinking it's really just an access road to make it easier to deal with the sewer...or maybe it's a little of both. But anyway, I followed it. It starts at an athletic field on Mallard Creek Church Road (long name) and immediately goes under the afore mentioned road. Then it goes under Hwy 29...and about 100 feet north of 29, you can find the remnants of the OLD road that used to go thru there. Basically, a big ol' bride abutment. Obviously there's a river nearby and the other abutment is on the other side. It's obviously been a long time since that thing was used since there are small (and not so small) trees growing on it. I'll try to post a picture soon (like after I take one).
